Best Bars in Downtown Brooklyn

Fun, trendy, chill or straight up unusual, Brooklyn has bars galore of all shapes and sizes.  There is so much to choose from that sometimes it’s hard to decide where to go for a drink. If you’ve spent all your decision-making power for the day like we have, read on and learn about three places that are well worth the visit.

Grand Army Bar is serving up sophisticated cocktails & raw bar selections in an inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for brunch.  The drinks change every few months and are inspired by the seasons, so you will never get bored.  The cocktails are inventive and not like anything you would find in a dive bar.  Prepare to be wowed.  We aren’t the only ones who rave about Grand Army – the publication, Imbibe, picked it as the 2017 Cocktail Bar of the Year, so they are kind of a big deal.

If you need to just ‘get away from it all’ ASAP but can’t actually leave Brooklyn to run off to the Catskills  — Livingston Manor is the spot for you. The bar may be going for that small-town vibe, but the cocktail menu is anything but small town. Whether you’re looking for an adventurous cocktail like ‘The Return of the Crab People’ or something more Catskill-esque like the ‘beer and shot’ combo—Livingston Manor is the place to go.

Robert Bar is another cool spot to grab a drink in Brooklyn. We don’t know who this Robert guy is…yet…but his bar is pretty cool.   The atmosphere there is complemented by frequent live sets and a jukebox (so retro, right?).  Their craft cocktails, wines & microbrews really hit the spot. Seriously though, if you find out who this Robert guy is, please let us know! We bet he’d be the BEST neighbor for you at Hub!

Grand Army, Robert, or Livingston are three great bars in Brooklyn that cover whatever mood you’re in or vibe you’re looking for. All you have to do is choose between the three! If you can’t do that then ask your Magic 8 Ball.
