Downtown Brooklyn February Events

Hub is located in the center of Downtown Brooklyn—surrounded by tons of options for food & drink, shopping, entertainment, and more. We even brought in a Wine and Spirits store right downstairs because we’re not like other buildings, we’re a cool building. With venues such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) nearby, there is no shortage of entertainment! Put your fun hats on and get ready to learn about some exciting events coming shortly!

Teknopolis is returning to BAM for the second year, beginning on February 24th and running through March 11th. Teknopolis mashes up art and technology to create an immersive environment for attendees. Exhibits range from conducting music using code, dancing with light, and exploring virtual reality in the least Black Mirror way possible. The four floors of interactive activities are a wonderful way for people of all ages to experience this combination of art and technology. With BAM being right next door to Hub—you have no excuse to miss this amazing opportunity.

The Barclays Center in Pacific Park is just a hop, skip and a jump away from our door too! The Brooklyn Nets and the New York Islanders both play at the Barclays Center, giving you plenty of opportunities to catch a game! The Barclays Center is also a venue for everything from comedy shows to concerts. This month you could catch a Katt Williams gig if you’re in the mood to laugh. The Marvel Universe Live tour is bringing their own action-packed live show to the Barclays Center- if you just can’t wait for that next Avengers Movie to come out. Hub’s location makes it super easy to get around Brooklyn – meaning you’ll never have to miss another game/concert/superhero meetup! Just don’t forget to tag us in your pre- or post-game party pictures from your apartment! #HubBk & #LiveHigh

Just a short trip from Hub is St. Ann’s Warehouse – bringing both American and international theater to Brooklyn Bridge Park. This pre-Civil War tobacco warehouse turned performing arts venue gives artists the space and flexibility they need to perform, studio space for local artists and groups, plus the adorable Max Family Garden. The garden, perfect for that springtime selfie you’ll be itching to post in April, is open to the public through the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The show ‘Returning to Reims’ is debuting there on February 4th and running through this month.

Centrally located and with plenty of options for transportation—living at Hub makes it easy for you to take advantage of the sights and scenes of Downtown Brooklyn. We love company, so don’t forget to invite your friends over for a nightcap and make them envy your apartment at Hub.
