The Perfect Mother’s Day in Brooklyn
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and all across the country, people are racking their brains for what to do for Mom. There is one thing that mom will never get sick of – spending time with you! Show your Mom the best of Brooklyn this Mother’s Day, and take her to some of these destinations not too far from Hub.
Brooklyn Flea Market – Every Sunday right under the Manhattan Bridge is the Brooklyn Flea Market, the largest collection of antique and vintage finds in the borough. While you might have hated being dragged to these events as a kid, with your own apartment now, the picking is very different. Look through vintage clothing, antique furniture, local artists and other fun crafts all while you spend some quality time with mom – you may even find the perfect gift here as well!
Manhattan Bridge Archway – 80 Pearl St.
Smorgasburg -The largest weekly food fest in America, Smorgasburg attracts 20,000-30,000 people to Brooklyn each weekend to eat from 100 local vendors. We’re lucky enough to be within minutes of all 3 NYC Smorgasburg locations – and the one held on Sunday is right in beautiful Prospect Park, a location mom will love. After hitting the Flea Market all morning, catch a Lyft and head to Smorgasburg for an extra special lunch – or even a few lunches! Whether mom is a foodie or just hungry, she’ll love the selection at this open-air food market, as well as the beautiful surroundings of the park.
Prospect Park – East Drive at Lincoln Road
Before you head out make sure you stop by Club 333 and get a mom a red velvet cup cake. The Club team will bring them out at 11am, so make sure mom gets one before they run out!
